BIOGRAPHY

Maks has been dancing since he was 4 years old.  His love for dancing, dedication to being a full-time coach, and his commitment to his students has made his Rising Stars Dance Academy a home to national and international champions. 

Maks is ranked 7th in the world of Professional Dancers.  He is also on the board of directors of Dance Team USA, which is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing opportunities to American Youth in mind, body, and spirit. Dance Team USA educates and trains America's youth on the world stage. 

Maksim can be seen on ABC's Dancing With The Stars.  He was partnered with actress Tia Carrere in Season 2, singer Willa Ford in Season 3, boxer Laila Ali in season 4, and Spice Girl Melanie Brown in season 5.  Maks took a break for season 6, and was partnered with Olympic Gold Medalist Misty May-Treanor for season 7. He was partnered with actress Denise Richards in season 8.
